Duke Ellington

Created in 2020 as part of the post-Phase Two evolution, Duke Ellington marks a shift toward expressive fluidity and symbolic entanglement. The vertical bands remain, but they bleed, merge, and ripple across the canvas. The genome is no longer segmented—it’s improvisational.

At center, a smiling face radiates warmth and presence. It’s not Ellington. It’s a placeholder. A speculative relation. A visual echo of inheritance rendered with joy and ambiguity. To the far left, a gold ribcage floats over a genomic color band—anatomical, radiant, and foundational. Adjacent to it, the mast of a sailing ship rises against swirling golden lines, suggesting exploration, navigation, and coded memory.

To the right, the Tarot card The Tower erupts: flames, trees, and illustrated lightning rendered as an upward green arrow. It signals upheaval, revelation, and sudden transformation. The genome here is breaking open.

Duke Ellington becomes a canvas of chromatic improvisation and symbolic recursion, where anatomy, myth, and emotional inheritance converge in motion. A work of joy, rupture, and genomic jazz.
