Fuji has a strange story behind it. Originally it was intended to be a far more complex composition. Halfway through the painting process, a visitor to my studio fell in love with it and bought it from me on the spot. If you look at the lower corner of the canvas you will see obviously unfinished area. The canvas wasn't even on stretcher bars.
