A Phase Two canvas in the Genomic Works sequence, Indira Gandhi moves through a spectrum of symbolic density. The Tarot card—Strength—appears in red, depicting a figure with a lion. It’s theatrical, mythic, and slightly veiled, setting the tone for what follows.

A photographic portrait overlays yellow and teal, semi-transparent and emotionally suspended. It’s not a likeness—it’s a trace. The bands around it shift from geometric pattern to abstract glyphs, web-like diagrams, botanical linework, and metallic-like copper color gradients. A Victorian softness closes the sequence in pink.

The canvas feels like a negotiation—between power and restraint, clarity and drift. Indira Gandhi doesn’t resolve into narrative. It holds its ground through rhythm, color, and symbolic recursion. A portrait of strength, not through image, but through atmosphere.
