Indoctrination (Green Star) features the logo of Instagram, centered on a green field and overlaid on a star. The composition is sleek, aspirational, and instantly familiar. Instagram is not just a platform—it is a mirror. A space where identity is curated, filtered, and performed for visibility.

This canvas marks the final turn in a cultural cycle: from Romanticism’s longing for transcendence, to nationalism’s myth of unity, to propaganda’s control of narrative, to advertising’s commodification of desire—and finally, to social media’s internalization of belief. The myth is no longer external—it is self-authored. Beauty, belonging, and truth are crafted through image, repetition, and algorithmic reward.

Instagram does not distribute ideology—it embeds it. Through loops of affirmation and visibility, it transforms selfhood into spectacle, and spectacle into belief.
