Indoctrination (Red Star) features the logo of Facebook, centered on a red field and overlaid on a star. The composition is familiar, institutional, and quietly dominant. Facebook is not a platform—it is a framework. A system that embeds belief into routine, identity into interface, and ideology into habit.

This canvas marks the final phase in the evolution of Romanticism: the absorption of myth into infrastructure. From nationalism to propaganda, from advertising to social media, each stage refines the machinery of desire. Facebook completes the arc—not by dramatizing belief, but by normalizing it. The myth is no longer visible—it is ambient.

The red star anchors the work within the series’ chromatic structure. It echoes the platform’s logic: saturated, systemic, and quietly totalizing.

Facebook does not indoctrinate through spectacle. It does so through integration—where the performance of belief becomes indistinguishable from daily life.
