Indoctrination (White Star) features the logo of Tumblr, centered on a pale field and overlaid on a white star. The composition is muted, typographic, and emotionally coded. Tumblr is not a platform of mass influence—it is a chamber of aesthetic self-curation. Its logic is mood, reference, and recursive identity.

This canvas marks a subtle phase in the evolution of Romanticism: the shift from longing for unity to longing for exception. From nationalism to propaganda, from advertising to social media, each stage refines the machinery of belief. Tumblr offers a quieter indoctrination—through curated obscurity, affective fragments, and the performance of niche belonging.

The white star anchors the work within the series’ chromatic structure. It reframes marginality as myth—soft, coded, and emotionally precise.

Tumblr does not indoctrinate through volume. It does so through aesthetic recursion, symbolic layering, and the romanticization of exception.
