Sublimation (Blue Star) features the logo of Al Jazeera, framed within a blue square and overlaid on a star. The composition is clean, iconic, and immediately legible. But the canvas is not about the logo—it’s about what the logo absorbs. Al Jazeera, positioned as a voice from the Arab world, carries the weight of geopolitical tension, cultural translation, and contested authority. It is not neutral—it is curated.

Within the logic of Sublimation, the canvas reveals how information becomes identity. The logo is not just a brand—it is a filter. A mechanism through which conflict, ideology, and emotion are metabolized into narrative. The blue star marks the chromatic zone, but does not symbolize. It locates. It aligns.

This is not a critique of Al Jazeera. It is a portrait of its function. A system that transforms raw data into belief, and belief into cultural position.
