Sublimation (Green Star) features the logo of CCTV, China Central Television, framed within a green square and overlaid on a star. The composition is direct, institutional, and unmistakably official. CCTV is not merely a broadcaster—it is a state organ. Its narratives are not shaped by market forces, but by national directive.

Within the logic of Sublimation, this canvas reveals how information can be refined into ideology. The logo becomes a conduit for cultural pride, historical framing, and geopolitical positioning. It does not mask its allegiance—it amplifies it. The green star marks the chromatic zone, anchoring the work within the series’ visual structure.

This is not a critique of CCTV. It is a portrait of its function. A system that transforms national will into narrative, and narrative into belief.
